Description

These are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. They are constructed of slate and granite rubble stone with a Swithland slate roof, and have a red brick central ridge and a stack at the left end. Brick dressings are present. The cottages are 1½ storeys high, featuring two 2-light diamond-paned casement windows on each floor, as well as two doors, each with three pointed arch panels. There are two matching 2-light hipped dormers. An outshut is located at the left end, featuring two 2-light casements visible from the end. A single-storey 20th-century extension sits on the right end, with a 2-light casement window to the front and 2 and 3-light casements on the end.
