Description

This early 19th century brick cottage is located on the west side of Gregory Street. It is a single-fronted, two-storey building with a plain tile roof and a brick ridge stack. The front features a six-panel door within a reeded doorcase on the left side, and two 24-pane, 2-light horizontally-sliding sash windows set beneath shallow brick arches. This cottage is a rare, well-preserved example of a type of worker's dwelling once common in Loughborough.
