Description

No. 9 Church Street is a house, possibly a former barn, built from brick on a deep rubble plinth, featuring steeply coped gables. The building has four bays and two storeys with irregular fenestration. To the left is a doorway, followed by a window, both with cambered heads. Next is a blocked door, a tall segmental-headed window, and two horizontal sliding sashes. Above, there are three windows. The building has axial and right-hand gable stacks. The main facade includes various blocked openings that seem to have been former ventilation slits, and at the rear, there is a large, blocked arched opening.
