Description
This is a mid-18th century building, originally a single house and now divided into two properties at 26 and 26A Church Street. It is constructed of brick on a plinth, and has a new roof covering. The building has a long, three-bay plan. A new doorway has been inserted on the left side of the front elevation. The ground floor has 16-pane sashes with flat-arched heads in thick frames. A projecting band runs along the first floor. Axial and left-hand gable stacks are present. Although now consisting of two parallel ranges, the rear section of the building appears to be of later construction.
