Description

Little Thatch is an 18th-century cottage located on the north side of Brook Street in Wymeswold. It is constructed of brick with timbering to the dormers, and has a thatched roof. The cottage is of 1½ storeys and has a 2-unit plan. A new thatched porch now obscures the original doorway on the right-hand side of the elevation. The ground floor has two 3-light horizontal sliding sash windows, while the dormers contain 2 and 3-light windows. An axial stack is present, and the gables are coped brick. There is a single-storey brick extension to the right and a 'Royal Insurance' sign is situated between the dormers.
