Description

The building is a Sunday school, likely dating from 1801, located to the rear of a Wesleyan chapel in Chapel Bar, Wymeswold. It is constructed of brick, and a slate indicates the date, along with a Latin inscription. The gabled front has a small double door set within a deep segmental arch. Above the door is a segmental arched window. The side elevations have two window ranges. The ground floor windows have flattened segmental heads (now casements), and the upper windows are short, wide lancets with wooden Y-tracery.
