Description

A row of four cottages dating from the early 19th century is situated on Main Street in Barkby. The cottages are constructed of brick with Welsh slate roofs. Each cottage represents a single unit, with Nos. 15 and 17 accessed from the rear. They are two storeys in height and feature 3-light, horizontally sliding sash windows. All openings, including the doorways to Nos. 13 and 19, and the archway leading to the rear, have cambered brick arched heads. A dentilled eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. Axial stacks are present.
