Description

This is a house dating to 1746, located on the north side of Brook Street in Wymeswold. It is constructed of brick on a high rubble plinth, with a Welsh slate roof. The house has a three-unit plan, featuring one gable-end chimney stack and one axial stack located at the rear entrance. The windows are now triple-light casements with flat heads, but the right-hand ground-floor window retains a gauged brick head. A projecting string course runs along the facade. A date stone marked "G J M 1746" is positioned above the front door.
