Description
Nos. 32 and 34, along with the outbuildings to the rear, are a house, cottage, and outbuildings dating from the 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed from painted granite and slate rubble stone, featuring brick dentilled eaves and a hipped Swithland slate roof with ridge and left end stacks. The building has two storeys and includes three 3-light center-opening casements with cambered lintels. A central moulded doorcase with a flat hood on brackets leads to a four-panelled door that provides access to a baffle entrance. There is a two-storey wing on the right end that has a pair of carriage doors and a ridge stack. At the rear, there is a long range of red brick outbuildings, which are one and two storeys tall, also with Swithland slate roofs. This range contains various windows, doors, and stable doors, and includes the former cottage No. 34. The property features a cobbled yard.
