Description

Two cottages, built around 1700, are located on Station Road in Thurcaston. They are constructed of red brick above a granite and slate rubble stone plinth, with a thatched roof and end stacks, the stack on the right having been rebuilt. The cottages are 1½ storeys high and feature three 20th-century replacement casement windows on the front, with 3-light windows on the ground floor and 2-light windows with top lights in three eyebrow dormers. A porch with a 1-light casement window above is located at the left-hand end, and a single-story 20th-century extension with a glazed door is situated at the rear right end.
