Description
Arch Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the south side of Main Street in Ticknall. It is constructed of rubblestone and orange brick, topped with a plain tile roof that features brick ridge and gable stacks. The eaves have a decorative sawtooth cornice. The building is two storeys high and has a north elevation with three bays.
The entrance is off-centre and consists of a tripartite doorway with a half-glazed door and sidelights, which was originally a window. To the left of the doorway, there is a 3-light casement window under a segmental arch with a wedge brick lintel. To the right, there is a 2-light casement window, which was originally a doorway, also under a segmental arched wedge brick lintel. Further to the right, there is another 3-light casement window under a segmental arched wedge brick lintel. The upper storey features three similar windows.
