Description
19 Church Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick with a rendered plinth and features a steeply pitched plain tile roof. The roof has a brick gable stack on the east side, brick coped gables on plain kneelers, and a stepped and dentilled eaves band.
The house is two storeys high and has three bays. There are two steps leading up to the central moulded doorcase, which has a bracketed hood and a panelled door. On either side of the doorcase are wide 19th-century three-light segment-headed windows that have 20th-century casements. Between the western window and the doorcase, there is a recently bricked-up doorcase. Above, there are three small flat-headed horizontal sliding sashes.
