Description
Woodyard Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof that is hipped to the left, along with a large brick ridge stack positioned to the left of the centre, which was rebuilt in the later 19th century. The building has two storeys and includes a band that steps up to the left. The windows are arranged irregularly, with two glazing bar sashes in open boxes on the first floor. Between these, to the right, is a blind three-centred arch window. On the ground floor, there are two small canted bays flanking a central entrance that has a panelled door surrounded by a wooden architrave and topped with a corniced hood.
