Description
Apple Orchard Farm is a farmhouse that dates back partially to the 17th century and was extended in the later 18th century or early 19th century. The original section is timber framed with brick nogging and has a plain tiled roof. This part consists of three bays with small square panels and some arched bracing, featuring two casement windows on each floor in the front elevation and a doorway located in the rear wing. It has an axial stack. The later addition is also two storeys high, built in a two-unit plan with a central doorway in a gable porch. This section has three light casement windows on each floor and an axial stack, with some evidence suggesting that it has been heightened.
