Description
Stenson Lock Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features plain tile roofs with brick gable stacks. The building has two storeys and a south elevation consisting of three bays. The earlier part of the cottage, located to the right, is double fronted and includes a central doorway with a segment head and a plank door, flanked by two 2-light casement windows with segment heads. Above, there are two additional 2-light windows under wooden lintels. The taller bay to the left has a 2-light segment headed window on the ground floor and another 2-light window above, also under a wooden lintel. Inside, the earlier part of the cottage features beamed ceilings.
