Description

The wall and attached outbuilding located south of Twyford Church is possibly of medieval origin and dates from the 19th century. Constructed from coursed squared sandstone and red brick, the wall runs alongside the lane leading to the church and features large blocks of sandstone. It has a chamfered plinth and chamfered coping. Partway along, the wall forms the lower section of a 19th-century farm building made of red brick with a plain tile roof. There is a doorway and a window with segmental arches that have been cut through the wall.
