Description

This is a late 18th-century house on High Street in the parish of Melbourne. It is built of red brick with brick dressings and a plain tile roof, featuring a brick ridge stack and a brick gable stack to the north. The building has a dentilled eaves band. It is two storeys high and has two bays. An off-centre, segment-headed doorcase provides access, with a glazed panelled door and a 20th-century porch roof above. Flanking the doorcase are three-light, segment-headed casements with small panes of glass. Above, there are two flat-headed, three-light horizontal sliding sash windows with small panes.
