Description

This is an outbuilding, now used as a warehouse, located to the north of Amber House. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings. The roof is made of asbestos sheets with a stone ridge, and there is a brick stack on the gable end to the west. The building has two storeys and two bays. It features a flush off-centre doorcase with a plank door. On either side of the door, there are glazing bar sashes set under skewback lintels, which have incised voussoirs and projecting keystones. Above these, there are two horizontal sliding sashes, also with incised lintels and projecting keystones. This building is included in the listing for its group value only.
