Description
The gateway and attached walls to the north of Amber Farmhouse date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick with sandstone dressings and rusticated quoins, as well as coursed squared sandstone. The structure features a pantile roof with a coped gable. At the center, there is a large Venetian archway with double plank doors, flanked by single doors on either side. A projecting keystone is present above the arch, and there is a moulded pediment over it. Stone walls with flat copings are attached to either side of the gateway. This structure is included for its group value only.
