Description

Amber Hill Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge located on Shirland Road. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and features two segmental arches with radiating voussoirs. The bridge has central, semi-circular cutwaters on either side that rise to copings with rounded tops. There is a flat stringband above the arches, and the plain parapets curve outward at each end, finishing in square piers. The copings are plain with cambered tops.
