Description

This is a late 18th-century house with alterations made in the mid 19th century. It is constructed of coursed gritstone rubble with quoins, featuring painted stone dressings and a stone slate roof. Stone gable end stacks and a wooden eaves gutter are also present. The house has a double-fronted elevation, two storeys high. The south-facing front has a central doorcase with a flush-quoined surround, containing a 19th-century panelled door and a rectangular fanlight with margin lights. Two plain sash windows flank the door, with similar windows above. At the rear, there are two flush mullion windows; one is a two-light design, and the other is three-light. The building is included on the list for its group value.
