Description

No. 41 New Mills Road is a terraced house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed gritstone rubble with flush gritstone dressings and features a slate roof with a stone ridge. The house has a stone gable end stack and stands three storeys tall with a single bay front. On the north elevation, there is a doorcase with a thin flush stone surround to the east, and to the west, there is a three-light flush mullion window. Above this, there is a similar window, and another matching window is located at the eaves, all of which have 20th-century casements.
