Description

No 4 on New Mills Road is a terraced house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed gritstone rubble with flush gritstone dressings and has a stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and a single bay front. On the south elevation, there is a doorcase to the west with a flush surround, featuring a 20th-century glazed door. To the east, there is a three-light flush mullioned window. Above this, there is a similar window, and another one is located at the eaves, all fitted with 20th-century casements.
