Description

Hillside Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located in the Moravian Settlement in Ockbrook. It is constructed of red brick and features slate roofs along with brick gable stacks. The building stands two storeys tall and has two bays, with an additional single-storey, single bay to the north. The central entrance has a doorcase with a plank door, flanked on either side by 2-light glazing bar casements. The casement to the south is positioned close to the door, while the larger one to the north has a soldier course above it. On the upper floor, there are two 2-light horizontal glazing bar sliding sashes. The single-storey bay to the south also has a similar window.
