Description

This canal bridge, built in 1797, is located on Trent Lane in Long Eaton. It is constructed of painted red brick with stone dressings. The bridge features a single stiled segmental arch made of stone voussoirs. The spandrels are plain brick, topped with a continuous brick band. The brick parapets have plain stone copings, and the walls splay outward at each end, finishing in piers. This bridge was built as part of the Cranfleet Canal.
