Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse and post office located on Church Lane in the parish of Morley. It was built in the early 18th century and later in 1842. The building is constructed of red brick and features a Welsh slate roof with brick gable stacks. It stands two storeys high and has a first-floor brick dentil band. The north elevation is symmetrical with three bays.
A central gabled porch, adorned with wavy bargeboards and chamfered angles, leads to a Tudor-arched entrance that has a chamfered surround and raised impost blocks. The inner doorway contains a six-panelled door. Above the outer doorway, there is a stone panel inscribed with "OBJUS/1842". On either side of the entrance, there are glazing bar sash windows beneath wedge lintels, with three similar windows located above on the first floor.
