Description

Morley House Farm is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Mansfield Road in the parish of Morley. The building is constructed of red brick with gritstone dressings and features a hipped Welsh slate roof, which has two brick stacks positioned in the pitch of the roof. It stands two storeys tall with an east elevation that consists of three symmetrical bays. The central doorway is framed by a moulded doorcase with pilasters and a cornice, and it contains a six-panelled door topped with a semi-circular fanlight. On either side of the doorway are glazing bar sash windows, each set under channelled stone wedge lintels with keyblocks. Above, there are three similar windows that are linked by a continuous sill band.
