Description

The churchyard cross in Morley is a medieval structure that was converted into a sundial in 1762 by Whitehurst of Derby. It is made of gritstone and features a polygonal base and a polygonal shaft, standing at about four feet high. The sundial includes a base plate and a gnomon.
