Description
Old Manor House, located on Coldwell Street, dates back to the early 17th century with alterations from the 18th century. This stone building has two storeys and attics, featuring three gabled bays with the sides advanced. The central bay includes two two-light mullioned windows and a small light at the center, along with a studded door set in a chamfered square-headed recess. Each wing has two 18th-century sash windows with plain architraves, and the gables also feature two-light mullioned windows topped with obelisk finials. The roof is primarily covered with slates, although some areas have old stone tiles. Inside, the house contains an early 17th-century quarried and enriched moulded plaster ceiling, as well as 18th-century panelling.
