Description
George House is an early 19th-century building, with the left-hand side likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of stucco and stands three storeys tall. The third storey features one blocked window and a small sash window. The entrance has a plain wooden doorcase. To the left, there is a stone rubble wing that includes one sash window, with additional sash windows above and below, all framed in painted stone surrounds. The facade that faces Blind Lane has two sash windows with later shutters, and on the ground floor, there is a three-light canted bay with a pentice roof and a plain modern doorcase. The building has moulded plaster eaves and is topped with tiles.
