Description

No 13 Sturston Road is a late 18th century to early 19th century building that is part of a terrace with Nos 7-11 and No 15. The exterior is roughcast with a tiled roof, and the structure has two storeys with one window. The windows and door are modern casements. Above the door, there is a plaque that reads: "In this house Catherine Mumford was born on 17th January 1829. In 1855, she married William Booth and later became known as the Mother of the Salvation Army." Nos 7 to 15 (odd) are recognized as a group.
