Description
Lloyd's Bank is an early 19th-century building located on Compton Street. It is constructed from ashlar and features three storeys with three windows. The second storey is highlighted by large arched recesses with moulded architraves. The entrance has a moulded stone doorcase with rusticated pilasters that support an open pediment on consoles. The door is a six-fielded-panelled design with a glazed segmental head. There are Venetian windows on each side of the entrance. A corbelled cornice is present at the second floor, along with decorative bands and a blocking-course. The building has small wings on either side at the lower level, with the left-hand wing having been restored.
