Description

This building is a house adjoining the Miner's Arms, dating from the 17th century and remodeled in the late 18th century when a two-storey wing was added. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with flush dressings and quoins, featuring stone coped gables and kneelers. The 18th-century section has a slate roof, while the 17th-century part has a plain tile roof. The 17th-century section is two storeys high with attics. On the south facade, there is a blocked 2-light chamfered mullion window next to an iron glazing bar window that fills an earlier doorcase. Above this, there are two 18th-century casement windows. The attic windows have recessed and chamfered surrounds, along with glazing bar and sash windows. To the west, the 18th-century addition includes a window with a small paned iron casement, and above it is a 19th-century glazing bar sash window.
