Description
Eastside Cottages is a terrace of four cottages built around 1870. They are constructed of red brick with yellow brick dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and have a west elevation with five symmetrical bays. The central bay has a projecting archway with a Tudor arch and a bracketed gabled wooden hood. On either side of this archway are 3-light windows. Above, there are two 2-light gabled dormers flanking a small roof dormer topped with a pyramid lead roof. The left and right ends of the terrace have projecting gabled bays, each with a canted bay window with a hipped roof on the ground floor and 3-light windows above. The building is accented with yellow brick quoins and an eaves band.
