Description

Garden House is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Main Street in Carsington. It is constructed of limestone rubble with quoins and has flush gritstone dressings. The roof is made of plain tiles featuring fish-scale bands, and there are brick stacks at the gable ends. The house is two stories tall and has a three-bay, double-fronted design. It features 2-light casement windows and a 19th-century glazed and panelled door. Above the door, there is a single light window, and similar windows are located at the eaves. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
