Description

Hillcrest is an early 19th-century cottage, originally part of a pair. It is constructed of rendered limestone rubble with a slate roof, and features a central brick stack. The cottage has two bays and two storeys. A doorcase with a large stone lintel sits to the west, leading to a glazed, panelled door. There are three nine-paned glazing bar sash windows on the ground floor, the central one infilling what was originally a doorway. Above, there are two similar sash windows to the eaves. The building is included on the list solely for its group value.
