Description

Mining Low Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage, which was originally a pair of cottages. It is constructed from limestone rubble with flush gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a plain tile roof featuring a central brick stack. The building has a four-bay, two-storey design. On the front, there are four small paned cast iron casement windows with smaller central casements, positioned on either side of two doors that have glazed, panelled designs. Above these, there are four similar but smaller windows. At the rear, there is a single-storey outshut.
