Description

The conservatory at Queen's Park is a fine example of a late 19th-century cruciform structure. It features a red brick base with a brick plinth. The longer section of the conservatory is oriented east-west and has a hipped roof topped with ball finials. The shorter cross section includes a domed glass cupola with a finial above the intersection. The northern entrance is marked by double doors flanked by windows and a pediment with a finial above. A dentil cornice runs around the building, and all window frames are moulded with intact glazing bars.
