Description

The statue of William Edwin Harvey MP is located outside Number 100 on Saltergate. It is made of white stone and stands on a rough hewn plinth. The statue features a miner's Davy lamp, a pick, and leaves as part of its composition. An inscription reads, "Erected by the Derbyshire Miners Association in memory of William Edward Harvey MP, one of the founders of the association and an official from 1883 to 1914."
