Description

Nos 2 and 4 Marsden Street are early 19th century, adjoining red brick houses. The southern part features a gable end with three storeys, while the northern part has two storeys. There is one attic window in the gable and a round-arched window on the first floor. Each house has three sash windows with glazing bars, and the doors have stuccoed lintels, except for the ground floor window of the northern house, which has no lintel. Both houses have six-panelled doors with rectangular fanlights, although the door of No 2 may be a reproduction. No 2 has a three-storey facade with one window facing Saltergate.
