Description
Old Farm Cottage is a house dating from the mid-17th century, with alterations and additions made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rendered stone with ashlar dressings and features a concrete tile roof with a rebuilt central ridge stack. It stands two storeys high and has a two-room central lobby entrance plan, with a single-storey, single-bay addition on the right side.
The central entrance features a chamfered quoined doorcase with a half-glazed 20th-century door, flanked by three-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows. There are two similar windows above, all of which have 20th-century leaded lights. The 20th-century addition is noted as having no special interest. Inside, the central stack has been removed at ground floor level, and there are chamfered beams present.
