Description

Conduit House is a 17th-century structure located on the east side of Castle Lane in Old Bolsover. It is built from coursed squared limestone with sandstone dressings. The building features the remains of a stone tunnel vault and a coped gable. It has a small rectangular shape with massive quoins and a rectangular opening at the rear. This conduit house is one of four that were constructed along the escarpment to supply water to Bolsover Castle.
