Description

This outbuilding, located to the northeast of the Derwent Hotel, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with quoins, features end brick stacks, and has a Welsh slated roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, each fitted with glazing bar sashes that have lintels and projecting cills. On the ground floor, there are three quoined doorways, each topped with substantial lintels and equipped with planked stable doors. The outbuilding is listed for its group value with the nearby hotel.
