Description
The building known as the Ranges to the east of the house at Moscow Farm is a significant structure from the 18th century. It is the rear part of the farmhouse block, constructed from coursed stone and featuring a shallow pitch gabled slate roof. The building stands two and a half storeys tall and includes wall vents.
On the north facade, there are two large blocked stone arches on the ground floor, which now house garage and stable doors. The west facade showcases two gables, a loft door, and external stone stairs, along with two windows in the gables. In the yard to the south, the western facade has an additional gable and a casement window with glazing bars. The ground floor features a penthouse roof and a similar window. There is also a single-storey cross wing situated between these two parts of the west facade, which contains pigsties. Inside the north/south range, some vaulted iron construction can be found.
