Description
Moscow Farmhouse, built around 1812-1815 by the Strutts, is a Grade II* listed building. It is believed to have originally been constructed as a mill. The farmhouse features coursed stone and a slate roof with brick stacks. It has two storeys and an L-shaped facade, with a rear section that projects above the main range. Both the west and south wings contain two sashes each, featuring late 19th-century glazing and stone lintels. There is a stone porch located at the angle of the building, and the roof of the south wing is covered with older slates. The west wing is likely an addition. The north facade is gabled and includes two unbarred sashes with dotage doors below. Inside, there are some iron construction elements.
