Description
Chequer Meadow Cottage is an early 19th-century house constructed from coursed squared gritstone. It features coped gables and gable end ridge stacks, with one stack made of brick and the other of stone, topped by a plain tiled roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays, with cast iron window frames set within flush stone surrounds, each window including a small central opening light. The central doorway has a plain surround. There is also a 19th-century stone outbuilding at the northeast end of the property, which has a lower roof.
