Description
Holehouse Farmhouse is a late 17th century building with later additions, located in Ashleyhay. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and has two storeys. The original wing on the right side features a two-light mullioned window with chamfered reveals, which has later cast iron lattice casements. There is also a similar window that has been blocked, a coped end gable, a stone stack, and old stone tiles. The 18th century addition on the left side includes a two-light window in a plain surround with cast iron lattice casements, as well as a square-framed doorway in a chamfered reveal with a plank door. The advanced wing on the right has a plain gable and two casement windows. The building has plain eaves and is roofed with tiles and slates.
