Description

This is a mid-to-late 18th century house with front garden walls. The house is built of coursed ironstone rubble with quoins of Uppingham stone, and it has a Collyweston slate roof with coped gables. A brick chimney is on the left side, and an ashlar chimney on the right. The house has two storeys and three bays, with three-pane sash windows set in raised Uppingham stone surrounds with keyblocks. A central flush-panelled door is flanked by similar surrounds, topped with a rectangular fanlight. There are extensions to the rear. The front garden walls are made of ironstone ashlar with a chamfered plinth and flat coping that ramps up to the ends of the wall. These walls are approximately 1 meter high and include a central opening for a gate.
