Description

CHURCH PASSAGE 1. (or Choir Close) 1469 SK 8608 6/129 Nos 1 & 2 II GV 2. 2 shops, 1 building. 3-storeys. Red brick. Early C19 shop fronts under 1 cornice, with 2 rectangular bay windows on the 1st floor with glazing bars. On the 3rd storey No 1 has a small window with glazing bars, while that of No 2 has modern glass. The doorways have paterae ornaments. Nos I to 3 (consec) form a group with Nos 35 and 37 the Market Cross and Stocks, Market Place.
