Description
50 and 52 High Pavement are two houses that have been converted into offices. They were built in the late 18th century and altered in the mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick with painted ashlar dressings and feature a plain tile roof with a coped gable and two gable stacks. There is a rendered plinth and a wooden eaves cornice. The structure has three storeys and a four-window range, with windows that have brick flat arches. There are four 12-pane sash windows and above them, four margin light sashes. The central doorcase, made of 19th-century ashlar, has been renewed and features recessed six-panel double doors with an overlight, flanked by 20-pane sashes.
